Bolingbrook came one point from a Class 8A semifinal last November. That is the kind of loss that follows a program into the next season, especially when the two best building blocks are back, and a total of 17 returning starters from last years team.
Oklahoma State commit TJ Lewis is the player who can control a game from the backfield. He ran for 188 yards and two touchdowns in the quarterfinal loss to Fremd. On the other side, 2028 edge rusher Darieon Prescott is committed to Notre Dame and gives the Raiders a defender offenses have to account for on every snap.
There is no soft stretch here. Homewood-Flossmoor starts it, Simeon and Yorkville come next, and the Southwest Prairie West schedule includes Oswego, Plainfield Central, Oswego East, Plainfield North and Minooka. Bolingbrook will be tested before the postseason ever starts.
