2026 Preseason Top 100 Season Preview: No. 85 Owasso (OK)

A state-final return will still require Owasso to get through Oklahoma's small group of elite Class 6A-I programs. I want to see whether the Rams can stay balanced when opponents force Frankenfield to be patient. The returning defense should give him the time to do it.

Drew Frankenfield, QB

Frankenfield has 5,679 career passing yards and 60 touchdown passes and holds offers from Tulsa and Lindenwood.

Barrett Blankenship, OL

Blankenship is a young offensive lineman with a chance to grow into a larger role around Owasso's veteran quarterback.

Cole Campbell

Campbell has recorded 82 tackles and six interceptions across the last two seasons, giving the defense proven ball production.

Peyton LeGrand

LeGrand has 133 tackles and three interceptions over two seasons and gives Owasso an experienced second-level defender.

Jaxon Suggs

Suggs has 48 tackles and an interception across the last two seasons and adds another known returner to the defense.

Joey Grabeal

Grabeal made 51 tackles while working as a part-time starter. His expanded role adds depth to the experienced defensive core.

Biggest Question

Can Owasso make its experienced quarterback and defense hold up for one more game than they did in 2025?

The pieces fit. Frankenfield can control the offense, and the returning defenders have already produced against varsity competition. The Rams need to stay patient when the championship-level opponents remove the easy throws and force long possessions.

Bottom Line

Owasso has a state-title roster. The quarterback production is substantial, the defense brings proven experience and last year's final gave this group a clear reference point. I expect the Rams to contend for the last game again.
