2026 Preseason Top 100 Season Preview: No. 86 Glassboro (NJ)

I will be watching how Glassboro handles ordinary downs. A team this talented can create highlights even while it is uneven. Championship football shows up in protections, leverage, substitutions and red-zone discipline. If the new starters learn those details quickly, the Bulldogs can contend for a third straight title.

Xavier Sabb

Sabb is committed to Oregon and gives Glassboro a national recruit capable of leading a lineup replacing most of its starters.

Mekhi Parker

Parker holds a broad offer list that includes Washington, LSU and Syracuse. His development is central to the next championship group.

Tasheem Butler

Butler is committed to North Carolina and gives Glassboro another current Power Four pledge.

Amon Wright

Wright holds offers from Temple, Rhode Island, Syracuse, Appalachian State and Akron. He gives the Bulldogs another Division I recruit in the returning core.

Davon Barr

Barr holds offers from Syracuse and Rhode Island and adds another recruited player to Glassboro's new lineup.

Jojo DeLecce

Biggest Question

Can Glassboro turn a long list of recruits into a connected lineup quickly enough to win a third straight championship?

That is the only question that matters to me. Sabb, Butler, Foulke and the offered group give Glassboro more raw talent than most opponents will see. The new starters still have to communicate, protect the ball and play through adversity together. Recruiting raises the ceiling; cohesion decides whether the Bulldogs reach it.

Bottom Line

Glassboro is young in snaps, not short on talent. I expect some uneven moments because only five total starters return, but I also see enough Division I ability for the Bulldogs to remain a championship threat once the new lineup settles.
