Based strictly on enrollment, Aliquippa would normally slot into 2A, yet the program has been forced to move up because of its sustained historical success under the PIAA competition formula. When you consider that they are consistently winning and reaching title games two classifications above where their enrollment would place them, the résumé becomes even more remarkable than it first appears.Beyond the titles, Aliquippa’s brand matters.
