2026 Public Schools Top 100 Preview: No. 45 Alexandria

Noble Williams: RB, 2028 - Noble adds another piece capable of breaking a big play whenever he touches the ball. Him paired with Kason will force defenses into not being able to prepare solely for Karsen Sellers and the passing game.

Peter Lofton: OL, 2027 - Lofton is a senior offensive lineman and the veteran piece of a group Alexandria needs to keep clean for Sellers and productive for its young backs.

Jaden Bayonne: DL, 2027 - Mississippi State commit. He gives Alexandria a disruptive interior presence and is one of several senior defenders with college decisions already made.

Bryson Phoenix: EDGE, 2027 - Texas State commit. His edge presence adds another problem for offenses that already have to account for Bayonne inside.

Ja'Kyrin Griffin: S, 2027 - Old Dominion Commit. He gives the Trojans a senior safety who can organize the back end of the defense.

Letravious Williams: S, 2027 - Williams is another senior defender in the secondary. He recorded an interception in Alexandria’s 2025 playoff win over Brother Martin and gives the Trojans another experienced voice on the back end.

September 11: at Union Parish

September 18: Lafayette Christian

September 25: at Neville

October 2: Liberty Magnet

October 9: West Monroe

October 15: at Pineville

October 23: Ruston

October 30: at Ouachita Parish

November 6: Peabody

T25PS Prediction

Prediction: 10-0. I think the schedule works out well for them. They have their two biggest games at home against Bryant and Ruston which opens the door up for running the table.

Playoffs: Division 1 Select Champions - With Edna Karr having to replace almost their entire roster, this could be the year we see a different public school take the D1 Select title.

Conclusion

Alexandria has the ingredients that make a team dangerous in November: a veteran quarterback, a true No. 1 receiver, proven runners and a defense with several difference-makers who have plenty of experience on the big stage. If the line holds up through September, this team can be the favorite going into the playoffs.
