2026 Preview
Armwood was one point from the 6A state final last season. That loss does not disappear, and Evan Davis has a team that can use it as the edge for a new run in Class 5A.
Arkansas commit Judah Gumbs is back at right tackle, giving the Hawks a real anchor up front. Returning 2027 contributors Theo Wilson and Errol Demontagnac are part of the next wave, but the bigger question is whether the defense can again make the kind of late stops that keep Armwood in every high-level game.
The schedule makes that answer come quickly. Don Bosco Prep (NJ) comes in Week 2, and Plant, Tampa Bay Tech and the district slate follow. Armwood will have to play its best football early.
