3. Greenwood Bulldogs (6A)

State Runner-Up: 2021, 2022, 2025
Why they’re #3: If this were a ranking of the most consistent program in the state, Greenwood might be #1. They have appeared in the state championship game in every single year of this five-year window. While they ran into private school juggernauts in three of those finals, they remain the gold standard for public school execution and culture. They finished 2025 as the #1 ranked public team in 6A yet again.

4. Joe T. Robinson High School (4A/5A)

Why they’re here: Winning across classifications is the ultimate proof of a healthy program. Robinson bookended this five-year window with titles at two different levels. Their 2025 campaign was a statement, moving up to 5A and going a perfect 14-0 to take the crown. They have successfully transitioned from a small-school power to a big-school heavyweight without missing a beat.

5. Fayetteville High School (7A)

7A State Champions: 2023
7A Runner-Up: 2021
Why they make the cut: In an era where Bryant felt unbeatable, Fayetteville was the only team to step up and take the belt. Their 2023 undefeated championship season remains the high-water mark for Northwest Arkansas football in this window. While they have had more variance year-to-year than Bentonville, their "peak" resulted in a ring in the state's toughest classification, earning them the final spot.
