GHSA suspends four Grayson players after Carol City postgame incident
Four Grayson players received one-game GHSA suspensions after the Carol City postgame incident and will miss the Oct. 9 game at Archer.

The Georgia High School Association has handed one-game suspensions to four Grayson football players following the postgame incident after the Rams beat Miami Carol City 10–9, according to The Atlanta Journal-Constitution.
The players will miss Friday’s game at Archer, Grayson’s Region 4-7A opener. The Oct. 9 matchup comes one week after the incident at Grayson High School. The names of the suspended players have not been made public.
Georgia and Florida’s athletic associations are continuing separate reviews of what happened after the game. GHSA has jurisdiction over Grayson, while the Florida High School Athletic Association oversees Miami Carol City.
The Rams’ one-point victory over the visiting Chiefs on Oct. 2 left Grayson 3–3 entering region play. After the trip to Archer, Grayson is scheduled to visit Newton on Oct. 16.
