Holley powers Millville as New Jersey sectional finals take shape
Millville earns an Atlantic City rematch, two ranked Group 5 teams stay unbeaten, and dramatic finishes keep West Deptford and Point Boro alive.

Millville had a six-point lead when Brick Memorial’s first possession after halftime unraveled. The Mustangs lost a mishandled snap, and Reggie Holley needed one play to turn the recovery into a 26-yard touchdown. He added the two-point conversion, pushing the lead to 21–7.
That was the separation Millville needed in Friday’s 24–7 Central Jersey Group 4 semifinal win. It also supplied one of several defining moments for T25PS-covered New Jersey teams on November 6, with sectional-final places decided by everything from a last-second kick to a five-touchdown rushing performance.
Holley earns another shot at Atlantic City
Holley had already hurt Brick Memorial with a 64-yard touchdown catch from Robert O’Connor and a 21-yard scoring run. His three-touchdown night helped end the Mustangs’ season at 9–2.
Millville’s next playoff stop is Atlantic City. The Thunderbolts lost there 35–14 on October 15. This return trip carries a different prize: the Central Jersey Group 4 sectional championship.
Two unbeaten teams, two Group 5 routes
#70 Washington Township beat Eastern Regional 52–21 to reach 11–0. Jalen Parker threw five touchdown passes and ran for another, with Isaac Parra scoring three times. Toms River North visits next for the South Jersey Group 5 final after beating Trenton 31–6.
#90 also reached 11–0, shutting out Sayreville 42–0. Hakim Theresa ran for five touchdowns. The Red Devils head to Old Bridge for the Central Jersey Group 5 final. Both ranked teams advanced comfortably, but their next assignments are in separate sections.
