We are already watching the regular season wind down around the country... pretty crazy, right? Indiana opened its state tournament, while some leagues in Michigan settled their championships last week. Alaska actually ended its high school football season last night with South Anchorage beating West Anchorage 14–6 in the Division I championship.
The playoff push is on for teams in the T25PS Public Schools Top 100. This week had some massive matchups that not only determined seeding in the playoffs but conference and district titles. Here’s a breakdown of the 15 featured games on the T25PS Scoreboard last night.
Two undefeated teams. A 10–10 game at halftime. Then Omaha Westside (NE) took over.
The Warriors outscored #56 Millard South (NE) 31–7 in the second half to pull away for a 41–17 win. Braylen Warren accounted for five touchdowns, throwing four and running for another. Bryce Johnson Jr. and Luke Weiss each caught two touchdown passes.
Millard South tied it at 17–17, but Westside’s defense kept giving Warren opportunities. Micah Benning’s interception helped set up Warren’s rushing touchdown, and the Warriors finished with three second-half interceptions. Warren added fourth-quarter touchdown passes to Johnson Jr. and Weiss to put it away.
Westside is now 9–0. Millard South falls to 8–1. If you were looking for a team outside the Top 100 to make a serious case this week, Westside just gave us plenty to talk about.

After 10 losses in the series, #67 C.E. King (TX) finally got its win over #8 North Shore (TX). And the Panthers did it by three touchdowns.
Khylan Davis accounted for five scores in the 42–21 victory, throwing two touchdown passes and running for three more. Arhiyan Montgomery and Antwon Sanders caught the touchdown passes, while Ty’Rin Gatson added a short rushing touchdown in the fourth quarter.
North Shore got touchdown passes from Javoris Taylor to La’Damian Defreeze and Christopher Tolson, but the Mustangs couldn’t keep pace with Davis and the Panthers.
Both teams are 7–1, but King now has sole possession of first place in the district. That’s a huge win with the playoffs getting closer.
Alexandria Knocks Off Ruston
#70 Alexandria (LA) and #35 Ruston (LA) went into halftime tied 14–14. Alexandria came out of the break and built a 27–14 lead, then had to hold on late for a 27–21 win.
Karsen Sellers scored on a two-yard fourth-down run, Kason Williams added a touchdown, and a second-half score from Noble Williams helped Alexandria create some breathing room. Two field goals pushed the lead to 13 with eight minutes left.
Ruston wasn’t done. Dalen Powell’s second touchdown cut it to six, and the Bearcats had one final possession. Time expired before they could get the tying score.
Alexandria also intercepted Sam Hartwell twice in the third quarter. Those takeaways were a big part of turning a tie game into one of the night’s biggest upsets.
Prattville’s Defense Keeps the Lions Unbeaten
A week after beating Thompson, #10 Prattville (AL) followed it up by shutting out Vestavia Hills (AL) 13–0.
Kolby King had two interceptions, returned one for a touchdown and recovered a high snap near the goal line. Prattville also stopped Vestavia Hills on fourth down from the 1- and 2-yard lines. The Rebels had chances. The Lions kept them out.
Marterrious Sankey carried 31 times for 138 yards. Will McKay completed 12 of 25 passes for 150 yards, including a 37-yard touchdown to Deshawn Hall.
Prattville moves to 9–0 overall and 7–0 in region play, locking up the Class 6A Region 3 championship.
New Canaan Makes It 29 Straight
#100 New Canaan (CT) had to work for this one. The Rams trailed Greenwich (CT) 13–9 at halftime but came back to win 23–19 and extend their winning streak to 29 games.
Jack Crowell ran for two touchdowns on 10 carries for 35 yards. He also returned an interception 47 yards to help set up one of those scores.
His fourth-down touchdown from the 4-yard line gave New Canaan a 10-point lead with 7:39 remaining. Greenwich cut into it, but the Rams held on for another close win.
Liberty Rolls, San Juan Hills Gets the Shutout
#38 Hamilton (AZ) and #39 Liberty (AZ) were separated by one spot in the rankings. They were separated by 31 points Friday night.
Liberty rolled to a 38–7 win in one of the most decisive results of the Featured slate.
San Juan Hills (CA) added another upset out west, shutting out #85 San Clemente (CA) 16–0. #76 Puyallup (WA) also kept its opponent off the board in a 44–0 win over Emerald Ridge (WA).
In Texas, #58 Carthage (TX) beat Pleasant Grove (TX) 37–13, and #90 Austin Westlake (TX) handled rival Lake Travis (TX) 38–17.
Milton Wins a 95-Point Shootout
We knew #26 Milton (GA) at #37 Gainesville (GA) was one of the biggest games of the weekend. The two teams combined for 95 points, with Milton coming out on top 49–46.
The three-point finish was the closest game on Friday’s Featured slate and gave Milton a head-to-head win over another Top 40 program.
