Thursday Night Football: 13 T25PS Games Open Week 3
Seven ranked teams and six Teams to Know take the field before Friday’s full Week 3 slate.

Thursday night gets Week 3 moving with 13 games involving T25PS-tracked teams before the much larger Friday slate. Eight of the 13 teams already have at least one 2026 game in the books, while five will take the field for the first time this season.
The headline is Miami Central’s home matchup with St. Brendan, but the night also includes seven teams from the current Week 2 Top 100 and six T25PS Teams to Know.
St. Brendan (FL) at No. 11 Miami Central (FL)
7:00 p.m. ET — Nathaniel Traz Stadium
Miami Central has one game in the books and is 1-0 after a 23-22 road win over Orange Lutheran. James Perrone completed 14 of 30 passes for 180 yards, while Nino Joseph carried 20 times for 106 yards and a touchdown. Perrone also scored the late touchdown that put the Rockets ahead. Miami Central now returns home for its first game at Nathaniel Traz Stadium. At No. 11, the Rockets begin Thursday as the highest-ranked team on the slate.
Tottenville (NY) at No. 20 Middletown (DE)
6:00 p.m. ET — Cavalier Stadium
Middletown opens its 2026 season at No. 20 after winning back-to-back Delaware Class 3A championships. DJ Davis returns as a key two-way player, while Tysir Young and Michel Adams anchor an experienced defensive group. Tottenville starts a difficult early stretch for the Cavaliers, with Cardinal Hayes and Good Counsel coming next. Thursday is Middletown’s first chance to turn its returning talent and preseason standing into a live result.

Cass Tech is 1-0 after dominating Michigan City, 62-0, in its season opener. Donald Tabron II threw two early touchdown passes, while Julian Taylor scored three times, including a fumble-return touchdown. The Technicians also kept Michigan City from connecting on a long pass. Cass Tech enters at No. 45 and now faces its first road game of the season against Grandville, a different setting from the opener’s showcase atmosphere.
Westfield (TX) at No. 52 Richmond Randle (TX)
6:30 p.m. CT / 7:30 p.m. ET — Randle High School
Richmond Randle is 1-0 after beating South Oak Cliff, 20-14, in a rematch of last year’s state championship game. Landen Williams-Callis carried 33 times for more than 200 yards and two touchdowns, giving the Lions a powerful foundation in the opener. Randle is No. 52 in the T25PS Top 100. Westfield also enters unbeaten, making this an early meeting between two teams that have already shown they can win. Randle’s running game is the obvious place to start.
J.A.G. (AL) at No. 44 Central-Phenix City (AL)
7:00 p.m. CT / 8:00 p.m. ET — Garrett-Harrison Stadium
Central-Phenix City is 1-1 after opening with a 41-14 loss to Thompson and responding with a 54-3 win at Pell City. The Red Devils produced 490 yards in the second game, including 274 through the air and 216 on the ground. Bobby Coleman completed 10 of 14 passes for 181 yards and two touchdowns, while Jayshaun Woodhouse added 105 rushing yards and two scores on nine carries. At No. 44, Central now tries to carry that sharper performance into the matchup with J.A.G.
No. 48 South Pointe (SC) at Lake Wylie (SC)
7:30 p.m. ET
South Pointe has played one game after its scheduled opener with Ridge View was canceled. The Stallions responded with a 56-0 win over Nation Ford, racing to a 28-0 first-quarter lead and forcing five turnovers. Clemson commit Seth Tillman recorded multiple tackles for loss and forced a first-quarter fumble. South Pointe is 1-0 and ranked No. 48. Lake Wylie is also unbeaten after defeating Ballantyne Ridge, giving the Stallions a second straight opponent with early momentum.
No. 54 Smithson Valley (TX) at Sotomayor (TX)
7:00 p.m. CT / 8:00 p.m. ET
Smithson Valley reaches Thursday at 0-0 after its scheduled opener against Cinco Ranch was canceled. The Rangers remain No. 54 and finally get their first game of the season at Sotomayor. There is no 2026 statistical profile to study yet, which makes the opening performance especially important. Smithson Valley will begin building its résumé from scratch Thursday night, with the first result carrying extra weight because the team has already lost one opportunity to play.
Silver Lake Regional (MA) at Scituate (MA)
6:00 p.m. ET
Scituate opens its season as a T25PS Team to Know after finishing 11-2 and winning the Massachusetts Division 4 championship last fall. Grayson Foley returns as a two-way contributor, while Owen Morley and Shamus Keefe give the Sailors experience up front. Sophomore Charlie Carnes was projected to take over at quarterback. Silver Lake Regional provides the first look at how Scituate’s returning core handles the transition from last year’s championship team to a new season.
Somers (NY) at Mamaroneck (NY)
6:00 p.m. ET
Somers begins 2026 as a T25PS Team to Know after an 8-3 season that ended in the Section 1 Class A final. Tristan Iglesias returns at quarterback, with Cameron Violante back at receiver and defensive back and Hudson Ruby returning at center and defensive tackle. Thursday starts a three-game road stretch for the Tuskers. With no game played yet, Somers’ experienced core will be the early focus against Mamaroneck.
Brick Memorial (NJ) at Brick Township (NJ)
6:00 p.m. ET
Brick Memorial is 1-0 after beating Wall Township, 28-3, in the first game under head coach James Mahoney. Quarterback Tyler Pierce threw two touchdown passes and ran for another, while Shawn Fowler also scored on the ground. The Mustangs are a T25PS Team to Know and now face rival Brick Township, which opened with a 34-7 win over Allentown. Both teams bring a victory into Thursday’s local matchup, giving the rivalry immediate significance.
Cleveland (NC) at Northern Nash (NC)
7:00 p.m. ET
Cleveland is 2-0 under first-year head coach Codi Vick. The Rams opened with a 41-40 overtime win over Pinecrest, led by Owen Hulbert’s 217 passing yards and two touchdowns and Kaleb Ferrell’s 149 rushing yards. Will Caldwell added six catches for 122 yards and a score. Cleveland followed with a 43-0 win at Corinth Holders. Hulbert threw three touchdowns in that game, Ferrell ran for 108 yards and another score, and the Rams finished with 433 yards. Northern Nash is 1-1.
Cape Coral (FL) at Dunbar (FL)
7:30 p.m. ET
Dunbar is 2-0 after opening with a 70-0 shutout of Cypress Lake and adding a road win at North Fort Myers in a weather-delayed game. The Tigers have already established a strong defensive start and have controlled both early results. Cape Coral now visits Fort Myers for another local matchup. Dunbar’s challenge is to keep the same discipline and defensive pressure against an opponent that will have a chance to disrupt the Tigers’ fast start.
Hutchinson (MN) at Princeton (MN)
7:00 p.m. CT / 8:00 p.m. ET
Hutchinson opens its season as a T25PS Team to Know after going 5-5 and reaching the Minnesota Class 4A Section 2 semifinals last year. Graydon Rostberg returns at quarterback, Kyle Bell is back after rushing for 1,300 yards and eight touchdowns in 2025, and Jack Hantge led the defense with 91 tackles. Hutchinson and Princeton meet in a rematch from last season, giving the Tigers an immediate opportunity to establish this year’s identity.
