2026 Public Schools Top 100 Preview: No. 50 Jenks
Landon Kizzar and Kailib Dillard lead Jenks into a new Class 6A-I district race with 16 returning starters.

Jenks opens the 2026 season ranked No. 50 in the T25PS Public Schools Top 100 with 16 returning starters, a senior quarterback and one of the toughest opening stretches in the country to start the saeson.
The Trojans went 10-2 and reached the Class 6A-I semifinals last fall. Seventh-year head coach Adam Gaylor returns eight starters on each side of the football, led by senior quarterback Landon Kizzar, who threw for 3,000 yards and 29 touchdowns with a 74 percent completion rate and only four interceptions.
That gives Jenks a proven starting point, but the Trojans still have important production to replace around the returning core. KD Jones was named Mr. Football Oklahoma after last season, and the next group will have to absorb the work left by the players who moved on.
Jenks has a clear place to begin in 2026. Kizzar returns after throwing for 3,000 yards and 29 touchdowns as a junior, completing 74 percent of his passes and throwing only four interceptions. The Trojans have the quarterback in place, but they still have to replace important contributors around him.

Kailib Dillard is the biggest returning two-way piece. He caught 75 passes for 1,300 yards last season, added 80 tackles and four interceptions, and holds offers from several B1G and SEC teams.
Clark Cariker returns after rushing for 400 yards and five touchdowns. Jaylon Cato had 500 receiving yards and two touchdowns, while tight end Braxton Daniel finished with 545 receiving yards, six touchdowns and a 34-yard average per catch. Those three give Jenks proven production at running back and receiver.
The like is also talented and return several key pieces. Senior tackle Odaefe Oruru is back, and sophomore right tackle Jamison Mobley started 12 games as a true freshman.
Jenks also brings back production on defense. Nashua Charlson led the team with 95 tackles, Luke McInelly recorded 70 tackles, four sacks and 15 tackles for loss, and Pearce Brann, Carson Odom, and Orlando Williams all add a lot of experience and production from last years defense.
The Trojans averaged 53 points and 513 yards per game last fall, while the 3,270 passing yards set a program record. KD Jones was named Mr. Football Oklahoma, the third Jenks player to win the award. The record-setting season is the standard the returning group inherits, even with several players moving on.

Orlando Williams, Edge/DL, 2027: Williams returns after contributing to the same productive edge pairing with Odom.
Schedule Breakdown
Jenks opens with three straight road games and what might be the toughest opening three game stretch in the country, starting with #25 Southlake Carroll at the Cotton Bowl before trips to Rogers, Arkansas and #37 Bixby. That is a serious opening for a team with a new group of contributors around its returning leaders.
District 2 play begins at Union and continues against Owasso, Deer Creek, Edmond Santa Fe, Yukon and Moore. Every one of those games will shape the Trojans’ playoff position, and the schedule does not give Jenks much time to ease into the new district.

Biggest Question
Can Jenks turn its returning production into a complete Class 6A-I season?
Kizzar and Dillard give the Trojans two proven leaders, and Jenks returns enough experience to make a serious run in Class 6A-I. The question is how quickly the next group takes over the roles left by last year’s contributors.
The early schedule will provide the first answer. Southlake Carroll, Rogers and Bixby come before district play, and Union, Owasso, Deer Creek, Edmond Santa Fe, Yukon and Moore will determine the Trojans’ position in the new District 2 race.
T25PS Prediction
Regular Season: 7-2
Postseason: Class 6A-I Champion, I teased it when I put out the Bixby season preview, but I think this is the year they are dethroned, and it's to the hands of Jenks. But, here's the catch.. They start the season 1-2 with losses to SLC and Bixby, but will avenge the Bixby loss in the playoffs.
Bottom Line
Jenks enters 2026 with a senior quarterback, 16 returning starters and a two-way playmaker in Dillard who already has proven production on both sides of the football.
Replacing several important players keeps this from being a simple projection. The Trojans have a strong returning foundation, but the next group will determine whether that foundation becomes a deep playoff run.
With Kizzar, Dillard, experienced lines and a schedule that gets serious immediately, Jenks has a path to make noise in Class 6A-I.
