Sharpe and Frye put Brownsburg’s sectional title away early
The Bulldogs built a 42–7 halftime lead over Ben Davis and now turn toward a Lawrence North rematch.

Branden Sharpe did his damage before halftime. By then, Brownsburg had its sectional championship firmly in hand.
Sharpe caught eight passes for 129 yards and two touchdowns in the first half of Friday’s 42–7 win over Ben Davis. Oscar Frye completed 13 of 16 passes for 184 yards and three scores before the break. Together, they gave the Bulldogs a passing game Ben Davis could not keep up with.
Brownsburg, #6 in the November 2 T25PS Top 100, improved to 11–0 and won Indiana’s Class 6A Sectional 5 championship. The next step is a regional meeting with Lawrence North.
A first half that settled it
Brownsburg took control quickly, scoring 21 points in the first quarter and another 21 in the second for a 42–7 halftime lead. Neither team scored after the break.
Sharpe’s contribution extended beyond his catches. A 24-yard punt return set up Brownsburg’s fourth touchdown. Brady Lewis added two rushing touchdowns, giving the Bulldogs another way to finish drives.
Brownsburg could create opportunities through the air and on a return, then finish on the ground. Ben Davis was already chasing a three-touchdown deficit when the second quarter began.
Another familiar opponent awaits
Lawrence North is next in the regional round, scheduled for November 13. The teams already met in August, when Brownsburg won 48–25. The Bulldogs will have to beat the Wildcats again to reach the semistate round.
