T25PS Week 10 Top 100: C.E. King (TX) Surges to #24

C.E. King turns a statement win into a top-25 ranking

King entered the weekend at #67. It leaves at #24, with a 7–1 record and a decisive victory over a previously unbeaten top-10 opponent.

The Panthers’ only loss—a 31–28 defeat against Cypress Ranch (TX)—keeps their season from being spotless. But the North Shore result changes the strength of their résumé: King did not merely survive a close game against an elite-ranked opponent. It won by 21.

North Shore falls 32 places to #40. The Mustangs’ earlier victories over South Oak Cliff (TX), John Curtis (LA) and Summer Creek (TX) support their continued position in the top 40, but the first loss brings a substantial adjustment.

Liberty dominates Hamilton; Alexandria answers Ruston

Hamilton (AZ) and Liberty began the weekend one ranking position apart. Their game was nowhere near that close.

Liberty’s 38–7 victory moves the Lions 10 places to #29 at 7–1. Combined with their 38–24 win over Corner Canyon (UT), it gives Liberty two significant results supporting its rise. Hamilton takes its first loss and falls from #38 to #55.

Liberty’s placement ahead of #52 Basha (AZ) remains a difficult comparison. Basha won their meeting 30–22 and improved to 6–2 by beating Brophy College Prep (AZ) 42–17. Its losses came against Orange Lutheran (CA) and Pinnacle (AZ). Liberty’s 31-point win over Hamilton and 38–24 victory over Corner Canyon give its one-loss résumé the edge over Basha’s two-loss season, despite Basha’s 30–22 head-to-head win.

In Louisiana, Alexandria climbs 37 places to #33 after beating Ruston (LA) 27–21. The 7–1 Trojans add that result to victories over Bryant (AR), 44–20, and West Monroe (LA), 44–7.

Ruston falls from #35 to #45 at 6–2, but its wins over Neville (LA), Longview (TX) and Catholic (Baton Rouge) (LA) remain significant.

Alexandria, Ruston and Neville also resist a simple head-to-head ordering: Alexandria beat Ruston, Ruston beat Neville, and Neville beat Alexandria. No single meeting settles the entire comparison.

Omaha Westside breaks in at #41

Omaha Westside and Millard South reached halftime tied 10–10. Westside owned the second half.

The Warriors outscored the Patriots 31–7 after the break, finishing a 41–17 road victory that moves them into the Top 100 at #41 with a 9–0 record.

For Westside, this was the direct comparison its unbeaten résumé needed: a convincing win over a previously unbeaten team ranked #56.

Millard South drops to #70 at 8–1. Earlier wins over Millard North (NE), Omaha North (NE), Lee’s Summit North (MO) and Elkhorn South (NE) keep the Patriots in the rankings.

Cypress Ranch earns the final spot

Cypress Ranch (TX) enters at #100 at 7–1 after beating Waller (TX) 37–3. The Mustangs own a 31–28 win over C.E. King (TX), along with 24–7 wins over Hightower (TX) and Fulshear (TX). Their only loss was 31–14 to Bridgeland (TX).

That full-season résumé earns Cypress Ranch a place in the rankings. San Clemente (CA) exits after its 16–0 loss to San Juan Hills (CA).

Milton survives a shootout; Creekside delivers a shutout

Milton (GA) rises four places to #22 after beating Gainesville (GA) 49–46. The Eagles improve to 7–1, while Gainesville falls to #51 at 6–3. Gainesville’s 14-place drop reflects its third loss, not simply the three-point margin: unbeaten Martinsburg (WV), Quince Orchard (MD), Weddington (NC) and Lowndes (GA) remain ahead of the Red Elephants.

Creekside takes a different route upward. Its 23–0 win over Langston Hughes moves the Seminoles from #13 to #11 at 7–1, with their only loss coming against Clay-Chalkville (AL).

Hughes leaves the Top 100 at 6–2. For Creekside, the shutout adds a ranked win as it approaches the top 10.

Washington Township, Westlake and two rivalry winners advance

Washington Township (NJ) moves three places to #71 after beating St. Augustine Prep (NJ) 28–14. Austin Westlake (TX) rises five spots to #85 following its 38–17 victory over Lake Travis (TX).

Twin Valley (PA) and New Canaan (CT) also move up four positions, reaching #95 and #96 after victories over Exeter Township (PA) and Greenwich (CT), respectively.
