Kaeden Penny — OL/DL, 2027 Penny is a returning senior lineman from the 2025 roster and one of the players Montgomery has identified for a larger role. Bixby will need its new line to stabilize the offense early. Gavin Wilson — OL/DL, 2027 Wilson returns for his senior season after appearing on the 2025 roster as a two-way lineman. He is another piece in the work of rebuilding both fronts. Connor Arant — TE/DL, 2027 Arant gives Bixby a senior tight end/defensive-line option and was among the program’s Top 100 nominees. His versatility matters for a team replacing so much experience. Nate Hobbs — WR/LB, 2027 Hobbs returns as a senior after playing receiver and linebacker in 2025. He is one of the named senior leaders the Spartans will ask to carry more of the load. Preston Carter — QB, 2027 Carter transferred to Bixby from Broken Arrow for his senior season. He will compete for the job with fellow transfer Isaiah Butcher IV; Bixby has not publicly declared a starter.

Bixby begins 2026 with a new quarterback room, only three returning offensive starters and three returning defensive starters. Owasso, Stillwater and Jenks arrive before the end of September.

Ohio was difficult because public school dynasties were spread across the lower divisions, while the larger classification titles had to be weighed significantly more due to the path they had to go through, including major private schools.
