T25PS Week 7 Top 100: Raines Jumps Nine Spots After Beating Venice
Raines hands Venice its first loss, Brookwood falls 20 places, and Tupelo and New Canaan enter the national public-school Top 100.

Raines knocked Venice from the unbeaten ranks with a 20–17 victory and climbed nine spots to #21 in the T25PS Week 7 national public-school Top 100. The Vikings built a 20–3 lead, then survived the Indians’ comeback to improve to 6–0.
Venice falls from #10 to #29, immediately ahead of Lakeland, whom the Indians beat in two overtimes earlier this season. Brookwood drops 20 spots to #60 after its first loss, while Grayson rises three places to #76 following a 10–9 win over Miami Carol City.
Thomas County Central remains #1 after beating Veterans 55–12. Thompson follows at #2 after a 31–14 road win at Hoover, with Carrollton, Allen and North Crowley completing the top five.
Raines survives Venice’s rally
Special teams helped Raines finish the job. The Vikings blocked three field goals, including a potential tying kick with fewer than five minutes remaining.
Raines has also beaten Mandarin 31–13 and won at Oakleaf during its unbeaten start. Venice is 6–1, with overtime road victories at Lakeland and Rabun Gap before Friday’s three-point defeat.
Brookwood falls and Grayson edges Carol City
Parkview ended Brookwood’s six-game unbeaten start with a 34–24 win on the Broncos’ field. Brookwood is 6–1 and Parkview is 5–2 after the game.
Brookwood had beaten Mill Creek and Marist and won decisively at Norcross before its first loss. The Broncos fall from #40 to #60.
Grayson’s one-point win over Miami Carol City brought the Rams back to 3–3. They have also beaten Langston Hughes 22–3, while their losses came against Buford, North Gwinnett and Sandy Creek.

Tupelo debuts at #99 after a 49–7 road win at Hartfield Academy. Drew Dean threw four touchdown passes, completing 10 of 13 attempts for 201 yards, while the Golden Wave’s defense allowed just 97 total yards.
The Golden Wave are 6–0 with every victory coming by at least 24 points. They beat Brandon 38–14 and Oxford 56–17; both opponents are now 5–1 with their only loss coming to Tupelo.
New Canaan enters at #100 after a 47–14 win at New Britain. Jackson Crowell contributed on both sides of the ball with 10 tackles, two sacks and a 30-yard touchdown run.
The Rams opened with shutouts of Trumbull, Fairfield Prep and Brien McMahon. Through four games, New Canaan has outscored its opponents 170–14.
Miami Carol City and Pittsburg leave the Top 100. Carol City fell to 3–3 with its one-point loss to Grayson, while Pittsburg took its third defeat in a 28–27 loss to Los Gatos.
Big wins across the country
Brownsburg followed its 38–14 victory over Westfield with a 38–3 win at Zionsville. Folsom, a week removed from its two-overtime escape against Rocklin, won 43–7 at Granite Bay.
Lee County rebounded from its loss to Thomas County Central by winning 15–6 at previously unbeaten Coffee. Weddington also ended an unbeaten start, overwhelming Marvin Ridge 42–3.
Skyridge backed up its Corner Canyon victory with a 27–24 road win at Lone Peak. West Linn answered its one-point loss to Nelson by beating Tualatin 42–14, and C.E. King beat Atascocita 42–14 on Saturday.

Thomas County Central rolled past Veterans 55–12 to reach 6–0. The Yellow Jackets have also beaten Lee County 49–26 on the road and Colquitt County 57–21.
Brownsburg followed its 38–14 win over Westfield by allowing only three points at Zionsville. It is 7–0, with Avon and Rabun Gap also among its victories.
North Shore blanked Humble 41–0, following a 35–0 shutout of Atascocita. The Mustangs have also won on the road at John Curtis and South Oak Cliff during their 6–0 start.

Massillon Washington moved to 7–0 with a forfeit award against Farrell; the game was not played. Massillon Washington’s on-field wins include a road victory at St. Edward and a win over Glenville.
Clay-Chalkville overwhelmed Pell City 56–6 to improve to 5–1. The Cougars won at Creekside earlier in the season, with their only defeat coming at Thompson.
West Boca Raton won 31–7 at Glades Central after earlier victories over American Heritage and Cardinal Newman. A one-point loss to St. John’s of Washington, DC, is the Bulls’ only defeat.
Miami Central beat Miami Springs 47–6 on Saturday to reach 5–1. It has won at Orange Lutheran and Miami Northwestern, with Buford handing it its only loss.
Centennial rebounded with a 65–14 win at Vista Murrieta. The Huskies’ three losses to Santa Margarita, Mater Dei and De La Salle came by a combined five points, and they won 41–21 at Servite.
Grimsley escaped Varina with a 24–17 overtime win on the road. The unbeaten Whirlies have also won at East Forsyth and beaten West Charlotte and West Forsyth decisively.
East St. Louis routed Belleville West 70–0 to improve to 6–1. It has beaten Chicago Mt. Carmel and Gainesville, with its only loss coming by seven points at American Heritage.
Raines handed Venice its first loss, 20–17, and jumped nine spots into the national top 25. The 6–0 Vikings have also beaten Mandarin 31–13 and won at Oakleaf.
Dutch Fork won 28–7 at Lexington after beating Gray Collegiate the previous week. The unbeaten Silver Foxes have also won at Ridge View and Spartanburg and shut out Sumter.
Mission Viejo came out of its bye with a 42–14 victory over Edison. The Diablos are 5–1, with a road win at Pittsburg and their only loss coming at Folsom, 35–21.
Venice’s unbeaten run ended with a 20–17 loss at Raines, sending the Indians from #10 to #29. They remain one spot above Lakeland, whom they beat in two overtimes, and also won in overtime at Rabun Gap.

Lakeland shut out Specially Fit Academy 58–0 after beating Auburndale the previous week. The Dreadnaughts have beaten American Heritage and sit at 5–1, with their only loss coming to Venice in two overtimes.
Central-Phenix City returned from its bye to shut out Dothan 45–0. The Red Devils have beaten Auburn 42–10 and won at Opelika, with Thompson responsible for their only loss.
Oakland won 30–7 at Rockvale after beating Blackman the previous week. It has road victories over Centerville and Pearl-Cohn, with a one-point loss to Smyrna its only defeat.

Skyridge followed its Corner Canyon win by edging Lone Peak 27–24 on the road. It is 7–1 after victories over Orem, Hun School and Nevada’s Liberty, with its only defeat coming at Mountain Ridge of Utah.
Corner Canyon rebounded from its loss to Skyridge by shutting out Cedar Valley 56–0. It is 6–2, with wins over Timpview and Lone Peak and its other loss coming to Arizona’s Liberty.
Brookwood fell 34–24 at home to Parkview, ending a six-game unbeaten start and sending the Broncos down 20 spots. They have beaten Mill Creek and Marist and won decisively at Norcross.
Neville shut out West Monroe 10–0 after beating Alexandria the previous week. It is 4–1, with victories at Evangel and over Ouachita Parish and its only defeat coming against Ruston.
Jenks edged Owasso 20–17 after beating Union the previous week. Jenks’ two losses came by one point at Southlake Carroll and seven points against Bixby.
DeLand shut out Centennial 67–0 after beating Spruce Creek. It is 5–1, with a 33–0 victory over Lake Mary and its only defeat coming against St. Frances Academy.
Denton Guyer won 51–7 at Braswell a week after beating Wakeland. It is 4–1, with wins over Melissa and Rockwall-Heath and its only loss coming to Waxahachie.
Grayson edged Miami Carol City 10–9 to return to .500 and climb three spots to #76. The Rams also beat Langston Hughes 22–3, while their losses came against North Gwinnett, Sandy Creek and Buford.
Lake Stevens returned from its bye with a 77–7 win over Jackson. The Vikings are 3–1, with a victory over Graham-Kapowsin and a one-point overtime loss at Puyallup.

Big Walnut followed its overtime comeback at Ironton with a 35–28 win over Worthington Kilbourne. The seven-point victory kept Big Walnut unbeaten at 7–0.
Austin Westlake beat Round Rock 38–17 after winning against Midland Lee the previous week. The Chaparrals are 4–1, with their only defeat coming by nine points at Prosper.
Toombs County rolled past Brantley County 71–7 to remain unbeaten. Toombs County’s 6–0 start also includes victories over Pierce County and Benedictine.
Bridgeland won 37–21 over Cypress Springs on Saturday. The Bears are 4–1, with road wins at Cypress Ranch and The Woodlands and their only loss coming against Ridge Point.
Tupelo enters at #99 after a 49–7 win at Hartfield Academy, its sixth victory by at least 24 points. Brandon and Oxford are now 5–1, each with its only loss to Tupelo.
New Canaan enters at #100 after winning 47–14 at New Britain. The Rams are 4–0 with a 170–14 scoring margin, having opened with shutouts of Trumbull, Fairfield Prep and Brien McMahon.
Records include official forfeit awards. Massillon Washington, Valdosta and Chandler received wins by forfeit this week; those games were not played.
